What does the image file reveal?
Choose the original file through the file picker, preferably unchanged from the camera. JPEG, PNG and WebP up to 15 MB are examined locally. Some apps remove metadata when sharing.
The display is limited to detected location, capture, device and author information. Missing entries do not rule out other metadata. A new copy includes only image pixels; the original file and metadata are not attached.
The new copy is saved as a JPEG with a neutral filename; resolution, quality, colours and transparency may change. Faces, number plates, visible text and watermarks remain. Review the copy before sharing.
